CAT_ANTÍPODES_és una peça que parla d’allò que hi ha a l’altra banda. Des de la mirada d’una persona que viu a Catalunya, Austràlia representa les antípodes —l’altra cara del món, com la cara oculta d’una moneda.
Inspirada en aquesta idea, l’obra es basa en un gest senzill: girar una pedra. En fer-ho, es revela un món inesperat de colors. A través d’aquesta acció mínima, la peça reflexiona sobre allò que roman invisible i sobre com un petit canvi de perspectiva pot descobrir una altra realitat.
Antípodes és també un projecte en què la Mar co-crea amb el territori, mostrant-ne la bellesa i expressant allò que vol revelar d’una manera senzilla, màgica i poètica a través de petites accions enregistrades en vídeo. Aquí, les roques esdevenen nous universos, visibles en descobrir l’altra cara de diverses pedres trobades durant el seu caminar pels boscos de Wollemi, Austràlia.
ENG_ANTIPODES_ is a piece about what lies on the other side. From the perspective of someone living in Spain, Australia represents the antipodes—the opposite side of the world, like the hidden face of a coin.
Inspired by this idea, the work is based on a simple gesture: turning a stone. In doing so, an unexpected world of colors is revealed. Through this minimal action, the piece reflects on what remains unseen, and how a small shift in perspective can uncover another reality.
Antipodes is also a project in which Mar co-creates with the territory, revealing its beauty and expressing what it holds in a simple, magical, and poetic way through small video-recorded actions. Here, rocks become new universes, made visible by uncovering their hidden sides during her walks through the forests of Wollemi, Australia.
